Community Energy Plus are the energy efficiency charity based in Truro and we are in partnership with Cornwall Council to help deliver the Sustainable Warmth grant. I enclose both our own and Cornwall Council’s leaflets which outline the grant for your information.

I am contacting you in the hope that you will include these leaflets on your website, newsletter and/or meeting places, so that your residents are aware there is help available to make their homes more energy efficient, which will also help reduce energy consumption, costs, and fuel poverty.

We are also anxious to identify and reach out to those living in properties which may be under-insulated and/or have inefficient heating systems. With that in mind, are you able to advise us of any specific roads where privately-owned housing stock may require upgrading, for instance, any housing estates built before 1990?

In addition, if you are aware of any community energy or environment groups, we would be grateful if you could provide us with their details in order that we may contact them directly so that news of the Sustainable Warmth grant reaches a wider audience.
