To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Opening of the Morwenstow Community Centre (MCC) 4 Cherry Trees were planted on Sunday 18th May 2025.

1. Prunus Kanzan -The first tree was planted by Alan Colwill & David Miles, the first & current Chair of the MCC Committee.

2. Prunus SnowGoose -The second was planted by Jonathan Hobbs, Chair of the Morwenstow Parish Council.

3. Prunus Royal Burgundy -The third was planted by Colin Ingram, a former Chair of the MCC Committee.

4. Prunus Hokusai -The fourth was planted by Edie & her father Matt Payne who is the Vice Chair of the current MCC committee.

Thank you to Morwenstow Parish Council for allowing us to plant the trees in the Morwenstow Playpark in Shop.
